I currently have a 2GB GeForce GTX 960 GPU that has a 6-pin power connector. I want to upgrade to at least a 4GB GPU that also has the same 6-pin connector so that I don't have to buy a new PSU. Any suggestions?

Considering you are using GTX960...Hummm. Better give it up and buy a new whole system

GTX 1050 Ti Strix the first and only good nvidia cheap card, a good graphics card for those who want to play games every day, this graphics card is one of the best. in 2024 still a capable graphics card, especially if you are on a tight budget. It can run most modern games at 1080p resolution with good graphics settings, and its low power consumption makes it an excellent choice for budget builds.

GTX960 did also come in 4GB and has a couple of important features that GTX1050 did not: it has full analog output for a VGA or DVI-A monitor, and has Windows XP drivers.

But most GTX960 and newer cards take an 8-pin PCIe power connector even if the GPU itself doesn't need anything near the 225w this setup can supply. The 1050Ti may be kind of a sidegrade but many of them didn't have a power connector socket at all, possible because they only needed 75w instead of the GTX960's 120w.
