A few days back i upgraded to the following specs
AMD FX 6300
ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3
Sapphire HD 7770
8 Gigs of Kingston Hyper X Fury Ram @ 1866 Hz
Corsair VS 550
So I run all games smoothly without any lag or fps drops but as soon as i try recording the gameplay whether be it FRAPS or Bandicam Or MSI Afterburner i see drops in GPU Usage accompanied with lag in some games and i get irritated to see such coz i saw on youtube with people having same specs running the game fine..
Need a solution

Yeah, there are many using VS550's with 970's. I just don't know much about the HD 7*** series or any HD series for that matter. Is the software that you are using to record hoggin all the cores/threads of the CPU or something?

Thoroughly re-check settings in whatever you are using to record. In MSI Afterburner (one I use) you can lock in frame rates to a lower or higher amount. Which could be trying to records above what you can get "skipping" or below what you can get "reduced GPU usage". Or possibly that the disk drive you are recording to can't keep up as rgd1101 stated. I would not think so unless you are doing something like 100% quality and or in an uncompressed setting. This or you may need to re-install a graphics driver and or recording program to see if it's just gotten out of whack.

At 1080P 60FPS an uncompressed AVI record can easily top 300MB/s which is far above any (that I know of) regular HDD's sustained read or write speed.
