Gpu Usage Drops to 0% and Never Goes Above 30%

My GPU will rapidly go from `20% usage to 0% usage when playing games causing the frames to also drop to 0 and continue at above 30 frames every few seconds. My CPU functions at ~50% all of the time.
I've been told to bump up the games settings but that only made the GPU usage spike faster. I've also updated all my drivers and attempted to overclock my CPU which didn't seem to effect anything. My temp stays at ~!35 C

Specs:
Rosewill arc450 power supply
1 stick 8 gb memory 2400 MHz
gtx 1050
Ryzen 3 1200 Quad core
Windows 10

Do you have the drivers installed for the GPU? Chipset drivers for the motherboard?


What power supply almost seems like it's not getting enough power to stay up

Head to AMD support site, download and install the chipset drivers for your motherboard.
Download the latest Nvidia GPU drivers.
Download DDU and run it in save mode selecting Clean and Restart button.
Install the latest Nvidia GPU drivers.

Could you post all your components and your system temperatures while idle and gaming.

Head to AMD support site, download and install the chipset drivers for your motherboard.
Download the latest Nvidia GPU drivers.

Install the latest Nvidia GPU drivers.

I updated the screenshot in the original post which has the active temp and now that I have the drivers reinstalled the GPU spikes more rapidly. the idle temp is the same as the active temp

its a single stick and has a speed of 2400 MHz

In order to get proper performance out of that CPU you need at a minimum a 2x4gb RAM kit at 3000mhz. That will allow the CPU to reach its potential and feed the GPU better framerates.

Adding to drivinfast247 post above, your system performance is been hinder by running memory in single channel, so try getting a 2x 4GB memory kit or a 2x 8GB memory kit.
You may end up with issues if you mix different memory modules.
