[SOLVED] Gpu usage drops

My GPU usage keeps dropping to 70/80% but sometimes even lower?it just started happening recently it always use to run at 99% however i did reinstall windows recently might that have been the cause??


My specs are:

Gtx 1060 6gb gaming x
Amd 1500x
Crucial ballistix ram 1 x 8gb 2400mhz
B350 tomahawk
1tb wd blue hdd
650 v corsair cx650m psu


I am planning on buying more Ram soon could that possibly fix it?

Yep my rx580 does this too. Just posted about it here. I have plenty of ram in mine. Seems to work fine, have never had this happen before. My gpu usage chart looks like a 9.0 Richter scale earthquake that just keeps on going forever.

Hahah its weird man I’m considering reinstalling my drivers maybe?Its really starting to bother me especially in pung as soon as you figure it out please post the answer here it would really mean a lot

This guy has the same thing going on too, and he also got no answers. He posted a screenshot which looks exactly the same as my in game usage spiking. I did do a little reading up, people say it could be a power issue, driver issue, heat issue.

None of those seem to be a problem for my system however.
