[SOLVED] GPU usage is too low

Hello everyone

So my problem is that when playing games my gpu usage is too slow causin low fps and fps drop in some games, for example in fortnite max gpu usage is 46%, while in other games like farcry gpu usage goes up and down causing drops from 76 - 115 fps to 50 - 39 fps, and in games where fps is stable max gpu usage is 86%. so i don't know why this happens, hope you guys can help me, my guess is the ram, but it may be something different as well.

pc specs:

ryzen 2700 @ stock
stock amd cooler
x470 aorus ultra gaming
16 gb ram @ 2666MHz (single channel, guess this is the problem)
gtx 1070ti msi duke
750w 80+ bronze PSU
games are installed in kinda old hdd and all temps are normal gpu clock is 2030mhz average

When your GPU usage is consistently lower than ~85%, its because the GPU is waiting for the CPU to tell it what to draw next on each frame.

Far Cry is fairly CPU-limited.
Fortnite isn't terribly GPU-heavy, so depending on what your FPS is, you're likely hitting a CPU limitation there also.

Ryzen CPUs like fast, dual-channel RAM. I most often see people using 2 x 8 GB of 3200 or 3600 MHz RAM. The RAM you currently have is slowing down your CPU which is slowing down your GPU.

thak you i was thinking the same but decided to ask to see if it may be because of another thing, i will buy a 16gb kit @ 3200mhz then

the problem with fortnite is that the max fps that i get is 106, with an average of 70 to 80 fps and evend some drops to 44 fps while in game, settings are mostly low only AA and textures are maxed out, resolution is 1080p
