I'm experiencing gpu usage spikes while playing BF4. going down to 1 fps freezing the display and when facing an enemy I also get some fps issue. I would like to know what can be the reason.
I just clean reinstall drivers using DDU but still problem occurs. Also set the fps to 144 and vsync off in BF4

This are my spec:
Gigabyte H110M Motherboard
i7-6700
RX 480
8gig ram 2x4
Cryorig C7 cpu cooler
Thermaltake versa h13 case
Corsair VS650 psu
144hz monitor
Windows 10

I run Unigine Heaven and here are my results:

Please help. Thank you.

Ok. What about the settings in the game? Is everything set to Ultra or med/low settings?

Your temps look good at load. I'm just concerned with a 480 handling high graphic settings in BF4 for intense scenes at 144Hz. If you're at Ultra, maybe try scaling some settings back a little and see if it helps. Tweak things like anti-aliasing too. Maybe poke around google for others results in BF4, and ideal settings, with and RX480.

You could also rule in/out 144Hz by changing to 60Hz and see if that makes a difference.
im also bothered about my power supply. ive been using an old case where my psu is placed at the top for about 2years, absorbing the hot air from cpu and gpu. i just replace my case with thermaltake and i notice a little improvement in fps. just a little though problem still persist. I was wondering if my psu is the culprit and needs replacement
