GPU Using a max of 50%

Destiny 2 only using a maximum of 50% GPU usage, making my FPS a lot worse than it should be. Im getting 60-100 while the bench mark is 100-144+

I have got all the power usage on high performance

What could this be its really annoying

Turn off Vsync, overclock your CPU, check the temperatures of CPU and GPU, check if there is a frame limit in Nvidia Control Panel and also in MSI Afterburner if you have it installed and running. These are not steps, just different diagnostic methods.

When I play destiny I am rarely getting above 100fps, no over heating what so ever temps are around 50-60 Celsius. playing at 1920x1080
When I look at bench marks etc with my specs people get a minimum of 100fps
Help? Thanks

edit 1: playing on high settings yet when I put them to low I cant see a difference in fps

Look in the settings for an FPS cap or Vsync. It might just be the game itself and it's optimization, though I have never played Destiny, but 100 FPS should be plenty for an enjoyable experience.

What is the cpu/gpu temp? what is the cpu usage?
New build or upgrade? fresh install of the OS? latest chipset/bios/gpu driver?
