GPU Vibrates Case and Disrupts Wi-Fi

When sitting on a wooden shelf under my desk my GPU (Gigabyte GTX 660) will vibrates the case at a freqnecy which disrupts my wireless network card. Because of this I have no working internet connection unless I pull the computer out and put it on the carpet which isn't something I'd like to do every day. Nor do I have anywhere else to put the tower.

Could someone give me a few examples on how I can reduce these vibrations without having to relocate the PC to the carpet? As I had some in my room I tried a pocket-pack of tissues under each foot of the case and that didn't seem to help....

All answers will be greatly appreciated as I need this computer to complete my college work on and wouldn't be able to complete or submit that work without a live internet connection.

Are you sure it really is the GPU causing your PC to vibrate? It could be the PSU fan or HDD(s) too. As for your WiFi issues, if you have a standard ATX board, you could move your WiFi card to the lowest PCI/PCIe slot possible to put it as far away from the GPU as you can.

On my PC, I sometimes get loud vibrations when side panels are slightly loose and these go away with a slight push on the sides. Sometimes, it does not take much.
Hahaha.

Firstly, WHY is the gpu causing vibrations?
Sounds like a dying fan. Fixing that could solve your issues.

If putting the pc on the carpet kills the vibrations, why not get a piece of carpet and place it between?
Stuff like tissues or a towel might compress too much providing no dampening.
