[SOLVED] GPU vs APU

Hello there, i am a noob, seeking to know some facts so that i'm here.

i am willing to buy a ryzen 3 2200G and a 1030 GPU.
when comparing with ryzen 5 2400, i saw that, the frame rate on Ryzen 3+1030 is something lesser than only ryzen 5 2400.
simply, ryzen 5 gives slightly more frame rate comparing ryzen 3 +1030.
is that true that the integrated vega 11 of ryzen 5 beat te 1030 ??
i wanna be clear and again i'm noob so please 😛
so what should i buy? ryzen 5 2400G or ryzen 3 2200G+1030 GPU??
Let me tell you, im on a tight budget so...

The GT 1030 is nowhere near a good gaming card.

Spend more money for the better CPU and add a discrete GPU later on.

the APU is roughly the same as a 1030. so they are basically the same thing. what you heard about frames is that the APU will beat the 1030 is some and then lose in others. basically a tie more or less.

personally for the limited budget i'd go for the 2400g now and then add a gpu down the line when you can afford it. this gives you the stronger ryzen 5 cpu now which will last a good while and then entry level gpu until you can upgrade.

you won't be gaming at high settings nor getting high fps with it but then the 1030 would limit you just as much with a ryzen 3. you can expect low settings at 1080p or having to drop the resolution some more for newer stronger games.

in the end no matter which way you go, you will quickly want a stronger gpu for newer games so start saving for it
