I've recently decided to upgrade my rig, you can see the components here. Note: only the CPU/GPU/RAM will be new.
You may have noticed that it says basically: unable to verify that the GPU will fit in the case. I have a GTX 560 in there now, and I checked the dimensions of both cards. The 560 is (LxH) 8.25" x 4.38" and the 660 is 9.5" x 4.38". And for width they both say "dual slot". So as far as the length goes there shouldn't be an issue, I can definitely fit the extra inch and a quarter. But "dual slot" isn't very specific. I was wondering if dual slot is a standardized size or does it vary between cards? My 560 fits in there just fine, but there isn't a whole lot of play there. I figure if the 660 is much more than a quarter inch wider it could be a problem...
Also it says the estimated wattage is 324 and my PSU, as you can see, is 450W. Does that estimate sound about right or should I upgrade the PSU as well? Thanks in advance for you help.
