Grahic Card detected but not working

I have an AMD Raedon 8670M graphic card in my dell inspiron laptop and the graphic card is not working.when i use msi afterburner it shows that the graphic card is not working and the entire load is shifted to the intel processor.Please help.I have tried overclocking the graphic card but not avail.Thanks
