Hey everyone, I have a problem with my computer right now, and it happened a few times in the past and I found a few ways to get arround it before but I'm stuck with it now.
Whenever I open a game my first monitor goes out with a message saying: Not Optimum Mode: 3840 x 2160. Which is the native resolution of the display which I use at 1920 x 1080 for better performance and a 60Hz refresh rate. On my second monitor the only thing that's displayed is a solid color.
This issue is a graphics issue as sound keeps playing and I can communicate with my friends if I was in a VOIP chat with them before the issue happened.
I have already tried:
Updating drivers
Restarting computer and checking BIOS for altered settings
Theese were the other ways I fixed the problem before. If anyone could give me a solution or at least a definite explanation for what's going on I'd appreciate it.
Thank you all!
Setup
Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.4 GHz
Nvidia GTX 970
8 GB DDR3-1333MHz RAM
Asus P8P67-m PRO motherboard
650W PSU
