Graphic Card Buying Question!

is it safe to buy either the 1080 or 1080ti

ive heard some rumors that the next cards might come out in april

and even if they do will they be hugely better than these.

i know its not really possible to know some of these questions but i was just wondering everyone's opinions

Depends on your need. If you are desperate and want to play immediately, pick up the 1080Ti as it will last the longest out of that Generation and is still very powerful. Or if you can wait, wait till the new cards come out to see how it is. However, be mindful that they may pull the same trick as last time where they released 1080Ti quite a while after they released the 1080 and below. So keep that in mind.

Buy what you need. If a 1080 Ti does it for you, and you need a card now, then what does it matter if the next batch of cards are better? You already have what you need. If you wait for something better, then you will never buy a videocard because a better one is always coming within a year or two.

If you don't need a card now, then it makes sense to wait. Why spend money if you don't need to spend it?
