Hello guys, I`m building a new PC, I`m going for the i5 4670K, I need some help on the Graphic Card and a good MOBO to Overclock the processor to atleast, 4,5hz.
My budget is around 1200$ for the whole PC, but I can go higher if the Graphic Card is good stuff.

I was thinking about a HD Radeon 7950, it`s cheap, and you can Overclock it to 7970 levels.

I`m getting the 144hz Asus Monitor, because I wanna play on 120hz and feel it smoother.

The rest is pretty standard: 8GB DDR3 1600 from G-Skill, Cooler Master EVO Heatsink, 1T Hard Disk.

Give me good hints on the MOBO, since that`s the most important part; I`m getting the combo from Microcenter, so I get 50$ bucks discount, just to keep in mind that.

Thanks guys!

Msi G45 is great it has killer ethernet slot, to reduce lag when gaming and also has a built in sound card for crisp sound quality. Depending on what games you are playing is what should make you decide between a 760 and a 7950 they are the same price but perform differently in different games, take a look at this http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/855?vs=854 it has benchmarks for tons of games, for example if you are going to be playing BF3 then grab the 760.

There arent many good reviews on the MSI Board you linked me mate, while the Asus one does have.
I still dont know which one to get, help me 🙁

I play mostly Guild Wars 2 and probably Sim City, GTA 5 and stuff like that, but mostly Guild Wars 2, so, AMD or Geforce ?:)

Like I said the gd65 has killer ethernet and the asus z87 pro has wireless built in, it depends if you are going wired or wireless. The gd65 has a built in sound card too and 6 usb 3.0 compared to 4. Right now the g45 and gd65 are the motherboards everyone is getting

HD 7950 should be fine to max it out or the HD 7970 would do the trick?
I`m planning to get a 120hz monitor, and reach that FPS atleast in SPVP / PVE because it`s impossible to get high frames on WvW Zergs

I plan to play Wired, I dont like that much wireless, but shouldnt make that difference, right?..

Built in sound card literally sounds cool, I suppose, much better than the standard Realtek?

Thanks once again mate

If you want to save some cash grab the g45 it has everything the gd65 has including the killer ethernet and built in sound card, it just doesn't have the overclock switch, which in most cases is useless because people like to overclock on their own.

If it makes a difference, I have the MSI G45 and it is amazing, love it.

the MSI G45 you say then, I hope I can get the 50$ discount buying MOBO + CPU on Microcenter.

now for the Graphic Card, HD Radeon 7950? Do you think it can hand a 120hz monitor?

Yes it can, but you will have to lower some settings, what games will you be playing? Some games like BF3 go better with a nvidia card.
How much are you willing to spend on a gpu?

I am playing mostly Guild Wars 2, and probably WOW, I dont like playing with Shadow and I dont care how long I can see the stuff, if you know what I mean, so that would help me to easy the GPU power, right?
Well, I gotta spend 1200$ for the whole PC, and I really wanna try a 120hz monitor, the Asus one seems the cheapest around.

Last year I had a 3570k + Radeon HD 7870 + Asus MOBO and everything played flawlessly, so this year it should be even better.

Thanks by the way for your support, I really appreciate!
