Hi i have this current setup:
-i5 3330
-Radeon hd XFX 7770
-Asus h61m-e
-HyperX Fury 16GB DDR3 1600
-Sentey 500W psu

i'm planning to upgrade all my components but currently i don't have the budget so i thought to buy a good graphic card that i can keep later when i buy the rest of the components. I can also buy a better psu now if it's necessary.

Also i currently play in 1360x768 because my monitor support this resolution (sometimes i play on my 1080p TV using higher resolution), when i finish with the PC i will buy a new one.

So which graphic card do you think i should buy now? I read in this forum that the 1070 works well with the i5 3330 but the posts were old. Thank you!

If I were you I would just buy a decent GPU for now (GPU prices are outrageous right now), and upgrade again later when prices come back down, or when new hardware is released. Many are expecting an announcement from Nvidia any day now on the next generation.

A 1050 Will effectively double your current GPU power, and will not break the bank, leaving you more room to upgrade the rest of your system and come back to the GPU later.

The other option would be to wait a few weeks to see what Nvidia comes out with (or at least announces) and see what they have to offer. An 1160/2060 (no one is sure on the names yet) should offer comparable performance to a 1070 if the trend stays the same, and should (emphasis on should) be around $250 or...

Really you don't need to upgrade much in the system past the video card. Even though your CPU is older, it's still not bad for games, even new ones, especially at 720 or 1080 resolution. Mid-range or low-mid video card and you should be set for a while. If your card is running OK, you may want to live with it till next gen comes out as above.
