i am using dell optiplex 755 tower core 2 duo
i want to purchase a graphic card This
GIGABYTE GV-N740D5OC-2GI GeForce GT 740 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP
Please tell me that is this graphic card supported by my PC as this card has card bus of PCI-E 3.0 and tell me one more thing that is this card fix on my pc ? is there any kind of size issue or not.???????????

You can put a card in, but it won`t achieve full performance.

You CAN install the GPU, but its performance will seriously be limited.

pcie is backwards compatible so a 3.0 card will work in a 2.0 motherboard. you will not loose any performance using the slot that is available on your motherboard.

hopefully your power supply is good enough and as far as fit all you need to do is o see what the measurements of that card are and then measure inside of your case.

Buy a new motherboard that has the same socket as your processor. Honestly, you'd be better off building a whole new system.

yep that is a 1.0 board and not to much you can wit that.
