Hi everyone!

So i started assembling my new pc and i did it ... At last i took my GPU from my old computer where it worked till 2 hours ago ...

The GPU is a ( GTX 1060 3 gb)

I install the gpu on the new motherboard and everything seem to work fine... but the led on the GPU never turned on and the GPU fan after
few second stopped spinning.

the 6 pin cable is correctly attached to the gpu;

no video input of course...

i tried different pcie slot but nothing changes.

i inserted an older gpu that doesn't need a 6 pin power supply and it works fine.
with this small gpu i ve discovered that both the bios and the device manager on windows detect the Gtx 1060.

the power supply is an RM 850x corsair and is new.

i checked and rechecked but cables are in place... updated the drivers.. but nothing....

i noted that no beep shoots after the pc starts... the Ram works fine and their leds are up.

Solution
Done, but nothing... the fans of the gpu start spinning then slowly stop and led won't light on
I would do it as a desktop build for troubleshooting -- just build it outside the case on a big piece of cardboard. Then try your old PSU in place of the new one, and so on. Easy to swap parts quickly to solve issues with it outside of the case. Just went through that with a new build a month or so ago. Final answer for me was the motherboard -- first for me in many hundreds of builds.
