Hello all!

After solving my issues regarding my RAM by reflashing an older BIOS on my ASRock X570 board I am now turning my sights to the issues regarding my graphics card. I have an MSI Ventus GP Edition RTX 2070 SUPER, and after experiencing a couple crashes that were graphics driver related I decided to DDU it and perform a clean install. After doing so my performance is now incredibly bad.

A friend of mine has an almost identical system, less the motherboard model (same chipset), and we both ran Unigine Heaven to compare results. The contrast was stark. The results for our systems, his one the left, mine on the right, are below:

FPS: 132.0 to 83.3
Score: 3325 to 2099
Min FPS: 51.3 to 24.0
Max FPS: 271.1 to 173.

The graphics card performs fine for all daily tasks like the desktop and youtube and whatnot, but as soon as I try to load up a game it just seems like it has no performance to give. Prior to the DDU of the driver it performed normally, but with the occasional crash by the driver.

I've already attempted another DDU and reinstall, as well as a DDU and a reinstall of the previous driver, which also did not help.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on here?
