Graphically Intense Games Often Crash

Recently while playing games such as Grand Theft Auto V, Rainbow Six: Siege, Overwatch, and even Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, I can never get through a gaming session without at least one crash. Although I never found a DVD to test my RAM with Memtest, I did buy a new set of RAM and replaced each stick one by one but the crashing consists.
I'm speculating that it could be some problem with my GPU or possibly my PSU. The crashing doesn't happen while playing some games that are easier to run such as Dishonored.

Motherboard: ASUS Z97-A
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 (Superclocked)
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790k 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
PSU: Listed as: "EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 750W"

it might be you temperatures, did you try taking a look at your temps? maybe try touching some of your heat sinks and feel how hot they are.

I remember when I was replacing RAM I was only able to hold it for about 10 seconds. I just installed 'Open Hardware Monitor' and I'll provide a screenshot with what I'm seeing. https://gyazo.com/9340ee88c2b96f130f32a882f781c9ea

if you can only hold your ram for 10 seconds it is too hot. try getting better airflow by doing some cable management or adding an extra fan. i am not really sure what else you can do.
