Graphics and sleep mode

I just upgraded my Graphics card to a Winfast Geforce 2 GTS and since then everytime I power up from Sleep or Standby mode the computer starts humming but the monitor seems to be frozen with only a partial display visible on the blank screen. Only a manual reboot remedies this problem. I have tried going into Safe mode and reinstalling the drivers for the Display Adapter and the Monitor but this did not seem to help.
Any ideas on what's going on and how I can remedy this problem? Thanks!
I have a 1 gig, 128 mb RAM, Creative SB soundcard Micron PC with a Plug and Play monitor.

I had that same problem with my winfast gts. I just disabled the sleep mode. I do not like to have any power saver options running anyway. I disable them in the bios settings as well as in windoze. let me know how you make out.

Its a problem with all the GTS cards, drivers and win98. I have a GF2 Pro and have this problem too. I used mine under 98 for a while had this problem. Went to win2k everything worked fine. Went back to win98 same old problem. Called Hercules about it, they know of the problem and are working on a patch for it. Some people said try the 6.49 version drivers, dont fix the problem. If anyone else knows of a driver revision that does work Im open to try it out. Its more of an incovenience then a problem.
