Graphics are terrible, looking for fix before buying anything new

Hello, ive had the same build for about 5 years. Only thing ive switched out from the original barebones is the gpu. Lately ive noticed games that i was able to run at 60 fps high graphics have dropped to 30 fps with mid-low graphics. Screen will black out randomly as well. Just bought over watch and im barely hitting 6 fps with everything shut down. Any suggestions would be great.

--repair ur window .... Reinstall ur gpu drivers or update them ... Reset bios settings if u have changed them thats what i know

What are the Gpu and Cpu temperatures?, maybe you are overheating one of those and it is throtling down to avoid damage?

If its overheating, the thermal paste loose properties over the time, it could be that or either that you have a lot of dust on the cooling and its not working properly.

I have a 770 and i dont have any problem at all.

Some recent Windows 10 updates have caused issues for many people, same exact thing as yours, games running fine, a day later the FPS is cut in half. Are you running Windows 10?

If not Windows 10 after the latest round of patches, I'd point the finger at your "Ultra" power supply, which is really only Ultra in it's poor quality build.

To rule things out though, test the video card in another system, see if issue follows the card. But replace the power supply even if the video card turns out to be bad. Poor quality power supply can damage every other component it's attached to. Gpu is sitting at a cool 34 but the cpu is sitting at 95-105 based on speed fan with nothing running. Just fixed this a year and a half ago. Gonna do it again and see if it fixes the problem.

Nvidias latest driver (I checked 'em JUST NOW) and not only do they support the 7xx series, but also the 6xx series... and the 5xx series... and EVEN the 4xx series. Feel stupid yet?

Wow if you listen to everything a company tells you without listening to it's customers and even NVIDIA ADMITS TO KEPLER ISSUES was driver related after lots of complaints from kepler users you should not talk about the world if you never leave your house now nvidia says that they have fixed the problem but why would they let any new driver out the door that says it's supports the 7xx cards when it really didn't in the first place unless they wanted people to dump their 7xx cards and buy the newer ones right out the gate they lied like every big company do but no company should not do a driver up date for a AAA game that they know everybody is going to play and forget about their last gen Gpu but build and fix all new gen Gpu drivers that was a dirty move.

Funny, because my two *Kepler* based GTX 670's in SLI have never gone "down" in performance and I've been gaming regularly since I bought them, so I'd notice . They work as well as the day I got them and the drivers have always worked wonderfully and have been fully compatible with my cards. Did I mention I have TWO KEPLERS IN SLI?

Your links are to to opinions from posters like yourself on forums. Is this your "proof"? Now if Legitimate tech sites were saying this, I might listen.Also, Nvidia admitted to driver problems in ONE GAME- The Witcher 3. You're exaggerating, and you know it.
Either way, you go by your accusations by angry fanboys, and I'll go by the fact that I own two of them. Who's in a better position to say which is true? That would be me. Sounds like YOU'RE the one who never leaves the house, and believes everything you read. I'm just going by, you know, first hand experience.
