I was wondering if I should buy two Titan Xp's or two 1080ti's for my new build, i'm not going to do any water cooling.

Another question is if the i7-7700k can even handle both of the GPUs or will I need something more powerful?

I want to be able to play alot of the new games in 2560x1440 at 144hz and ~150fps

Thanks.

2x Titan XP/1080 Ti seems a bit much for 1440p 144 Hz IMO, 1x GTX 1080 Ti or Titan XP should handle that in most games without spending 2x as much. I would stick with the 1080 Ti personally, the Titan XP is better but usually the price jump isn't worth it for slightly better performance, the Titan line is more for showing off than anything else.

As for the i7-7700K, yes it can handle them it is the best consumer CPU on the market for Gaming at the moment. Hope this helps :)

1080Tis would probably be the way to go, at least for now. The Titan XPs will likely give a little higher FPS, but ultimately fewer aftermarket overclocking/cooling solutions available.

The i7 7700k will be fast enough. At that resolution the CPU matters less as games are more bottlenecked by the GPU, so the more graphics power you have, the better.
