i've had this pc for 11 months now and it never had any hardware problem nor was it ever abused. just one day when i stared it up there's a "no signal" or i think it was "checking signal" displayed in the monitor and i heard 1 long beep and 2 short beeps during boot up so i looked it up on my phone.
i found out that it was an error with the graphics card so i plugged the cable into the integrated graphics and then i could see the display, its in the login screen so i think the pc worked fine. i searched all over and found out that it could also be a problem with the psu or the mobo so i removed everything, cleaned all the dust and reassembled everything but it didn't work. there were no lose parts/screws or any physical damages but i still had the problem.
this is where it gets weird. sometimes it boots fine lol so whenever i start up the pc i have the cable plugged initially w/ the integrated graphics and if it worked fine i will then switch to the graphics card. if not then i will restart and try again until it works xD
anything you can think of? is there something like a boot log in txt where i can see the error report? i'm on win8.1 64-bit and my graphics card is nvidia gtx 650ti. i think i could also have it checked in the shop where it was bought but its very far away, it would take me at least 3 hours to get there so i want to try to find a solution here.
oh and if it might help, the switching adapter of the monitor (the one plugged in the outlet) was damaged by my dog and i only fixed it with electrical tape xD i could hear sparks whenever i move it even just a little and also i remembered seeing sparks while i was applying the electrical tape on it... which scared the shit out of me. i only had this problem after this incident though but i really have no idea how that could be the root of the problem
