[SOLVED] Graphics Card boot problem

So a friend of mine sent me a RX 580 gts xxx 8gb xfx that he got from a pre-build and he removed it from his pc and left it in the wardrobe.. I plugged in the card and the cables and it doesn't power on it just flicker a light 1 time and nothing else.. I have a a520m s2h motherboard, r5 3500x, 1 stick of 8 gb ram and a 550w power supply from silentiumpc.. I'm not sure what the issue is if it's because of the card or the power supply.. Any suggestions on what should i do?

what do you mean exactly? everything is plugged in

he means the lay down cable the othe part of it is it pplug to the psu to gpu .

with the old gpu it works perfectly, i will try taking the card to a friend and test it there..
