hello so about a couple weeks ago there was a power cut and the pc keeps shutting down randomly, i believe this is the graphics card causing this as the cpu is fine on games and doesent overheat, the ram seems fine at normal temperatures but the graphics card whenever i try stress testing it the pc shuts down, is it possible my graphics card could of been damaged in the power outage as at the time i didnt have my pc hooked up to a surge protector also it is built in graphics, here are my pc specs.
cpu - amd a10 6800k 4.4ghz quadcore
graphics - amd radeon hd 7770 1GB grrd5
ram - 16GB
hdd - 2TB

What power supply do you have? It could have been damaged, more likely than the GPU. If all the temperatures are fine on benchmarking, it could be the GPU is drawing more than the PSU can handle?

Will it run with only the integrated graphics from the 6800K?

i actually sent it to mendit and they had replaced the psu as they thought it was that as did i at first, so i do not believe it is the psu. i also dont know how to check what the psu in it is.

Oh ok. You can check the PSU (hopefully) by opening the side panel on the desktop case. Hopefully there is a sticker on the side that should have manufacturer and power supply specifications.

Have you tried any GPU monitoring software such as GPUz or GPUtemp? Is the graphics card is working without errors while idle at the desktop or while viewing online content/streaming video etc? It only shuts the computer down when gaming or the GPU is heavily loaded?

on the side of the psu i see s450 so i guess its an s450 but thats all i can see about the psu, i was using OCCT and whenever it got to like 11mins of the gpu test it would just shut down leaving me with error 41 (63) kernel power, i will download gpuz now and see what happens. xibyth i dont know what the psu was before i only know what it is now as it was a prebuilt rig.

Well darn, that is totally normal. The idle temp is a bit high, but if the case temperature is somewhat warm, it's reasonable.

Have you tried the usual driver updates and everything? This may not help but there is a small chance something became corrupted when the power cut out the first time.

ye updating all drivers was the first thing i did when i got this problem and all microsoft updates have been done aswell. it dosent make any sense why this happens when trying to upload things, its so frustrating. the only thing temerature wise i can see is when i run gpu 3d on occt it says the package is up at 83°C, is that normal?

83c is fairly normal I would say, especially if the idle is at 44c. The max temp for those cards is around 90c at which point it should be throttling itself to reduce temps, not shutting down.

Do games and the benchmarks run without a problem when you are only using the A10's integrated graphics / when the 7770 is removed?

Run Prime 95, this will only stress memory and your CPU. The issues you are facing are more likely RAM. When a GPU has power issues it usually shows as a message after black screens stating 'the display has stopped responding' or ' the graphics adapter has stopped working', or by the screen not coming on when the computer starts. If it crashes shortly after starting prime 95 you have narrowed it down. Try booting with only one stick of ram (try this with multiple sticks of RAM).

ye all games i play like watch dogs far cry 4 run at a good 60fps without shutdown and cs:go runs at around 170fps without shutting down aswell, i think the 7770 is the integrated graphics as when i go into the computer right click properties it says processor: amd a10-6800k APU with radeon(tm) HD graphics 4.4ghz
