I recently purchased and built a brand new PC. Everything is working according to plan, all LED case fans are on and spinning, until I look at the graphics card fans, which are not spinning. Too add on to that, when I plug in the cords to my monitor, it shows it is a getting a signal but it is only a black screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you getting an error code on your motherboard?

Either way, I would probably clear CMOS and try again. To do this, you would simply remove the small battery (similar to a battery for a watch) from the motherboard for a few minutes. BE SURE THAT THE COMPUTER IS COMPLETELY POWERED OFF AND DISCONNECTED FROM THE OUTLET BEFORE DOING THIS! You can damage your parts otherwise.
Usually the fans are programmed to kick on when the card reaches a certain temp (mine is 60*c stock for example). You can change those settings with software to control the card - I use MSI Afterburner.

For the screen being black, do you have the proper drivers for your card installed? Try connecting your display to the motherboard and see if it works using the integrated graphics from your CPU.

Well I hope that is the case for the fans. But for the display problem, we have tried connecting it to the motherboard and we have also tried with multiple different HDMI cables to no avail. We can't install any drivers anyway because there is no display, and we can't even get BIOS up.

Try removing the video card completely and see if your system boots without it. If it works, you can get online to download and install the drivers for your video card. If it doesn't work, you may have another issue. You're motherboard should have an LED that gives error codes when it doesn't post.

Removed the video card and the computer turned on fine, however, the same problem persists, it refuses to display anything on the monitor I have it connected too.
