graphics card for 4k?

I play light games such as fifa and need for speed. I currently use an EVGA gtx 770 but I want to upgrade this to play fifa in 4k at 60 Fps. Would I get away with a gtx 1060 for this or would a gtx 1070 be better for fifa in 4k at 60 Fps?

Could you post your system components.
A GTX 1060 will be enough for FIFA 4k at 60 FPS, since the only improvement you will notice is on shadows and grass...nothing else.
Don't worry you could still run thru solid objects.
You might not see a difference between 1080 and 4K unless you look at shadows and grass.

With current generation GPU's you'd need a 1080Ti to reach your 4k goal. Even then constant ultra 60 FPS would be tough.

Only shadows and grass are different. I was surprised as well.
Maybe they wanted to make sure most people could play at 4k. If they had changed most of the game graphics to match 4k then a more powerful GPU will be required.

It really comes down to PPI and distance from monitor. at a certain distance you can only see so much ppi.
4k is a huge waste on gaming. just buy a nice 2k monitor.
