Graphics card gold finger soldering

So I was replacing a blown fuse on one of my graphics card near the pcie connector. However a ball of solder got stuck on the pcie connector. When I removed the ball of solder it had completely removed the gold from the contact and now it's silver coloured. Will this prevent the graphics card from working ????

I think you've only stripped off the gold where the less-important nickel is. The bottom area, where the copper is under the gold, matters a lot more.

Have you tried using it since you've completed your repair?

The graphics card is not working an there is no gold left where the solder has been it's all silver solder colour .

Would you be able to get us a picture of the card, the whole side where you've soldered and the gold came off?
