Graphics card help needed!

I recently built a computer. I have a thermal take armor+ with liquid cooling, amd phenom 2 940, ati radeon 4870 x2, 8 gigs of corsair 1066 ddr 2 ram and a 1200 watt psu for everything that matters. I am constantly getting a no signal on my monitor. I tried my old monitor that I know works and it wont work either. I checked my ram and its all in correctly. Is the problem with my graphics card?

What cable are using for the connection? I would say try to use a new cable.
