Graphics Card help

So I'm kinda lost with this, I have not had good fps in games so I got a new video card ( had integrated before ) when I went to install it it wouldn't fit, like it would be up against the case the row is fine and it's compatible just to big for the case I don't know where to go from here I looked and I can replace my case or my motherboard but idk I'm really lost in very new to computers so I'm so confused i really need help

how about you gave us the series of Motherboard, and graphic card

The motherboard is an msi h8mi-E33 and the graphics card is a GeForce gtx 950. Is that what your talking about
