Graphics Card is hanging system while gameplay

Hi I have installed Windows 7 professional 64bit. And after that i installed new graphics Card HIS R9 270x. But it is giving strange error when ever i start a game i can see menus and all but as soon as game loads max 5-10 sec of gameplay and my system hangs. And then i have to manually reboot the system. What could be the reason behind that????

mmm... try this: Remove the drivers, then run DriverSweeper to really remove all AMD drivers from your computer. Then reboot, and go download the newest Catalyst (they are at the bottom of the list there) drivers and install that way. See if that will clean it up and help out? Only other thing might be you may need to check your Mobo BIOS see if it needs a updat to know / understand what a R9 is.

Strictly Monitor the GPU Temp.... use HWMonitor !!!

My GPU temperature is rising more than 80 degree. I used GPUZ to check. What should i do?

I tried using other PSU 500w and it did worked smooth. Main problem was my new PSU that had a defect

Ok, the two things that you've checked are the temps and the PSU....
SO the PSU was defective and was giving out either less or too much current.... Have you checked the temps after replacing the PSU?
If you have what are the readings?
If they are still high, then you might need to either clean up the rig using compressed air and add a fan or two inside for more airflow....

With my other PSU that is 500w the temperature did went upto 60 degree on very high graphics

That's ok under full load.... so the problem is solved.... the PSU was the problem....
