Hi, I built my first computer about 6 months ago for my birthday (October). It's been working absolutely wonderfully, no BSOD's, great FPS and speeds and I love it so much. However, I was playing H1Z1 today and my graphics card crashed. I'm running a dual-monitor setup and on my primary monitor my screen had a lot of grey stripes running vertically down the screen, while my secondary monitor was just white. I tried ctrl+alt+del but that didn't do anything, so I held the power button and force shut it down. Upon turning it on again, the computer started, but my monitors stayed black. I opened up my computer and everything is running, the GPU fans and lights are on, but for some reason I'm not getting any video output. I can hear through my headset that my applications are launching. I don't know what to do, can someone help?

Solution
First thing to do is test the card in another computer and another card in yours. I'd test the monitors one at a time also, on different cables and connections.

You got a CX power supply, those can cause issues, I am still not sure why so many builds include one especially the higher end ones. It's a very average power supply, OK for a lower end system but not one the parts you have.

If possible, try another power supply as well if the card works fine in another system (for a while, not just plug in, see a screen, shut off. Actually run some video benchmarks for a bit.)

I don't have another system I can test the card it, all of my other computers are laptops. And as far as the power supply goes, do you really think that could be the problem? I mean, I've used it for like 6 months no problem.

Yes, power supply can be the issue, but you need to rule out the video card first, and only way of doing that is to test it in another working system or try another of the same power use in yours. Unfortunately there are often no way to rule out a component without swapping it out and seeing what happens.
