Question Graphics Card Lagging after cleaning it

My gpu is lagging after cleaning and l tried benchmarking it was 5 fps - 15fps , l tried after msi afterburner and it didn't work

l tried some games like jump force , Dragon ball , and Garry mod

Jump force was 5 - 10 fps

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 10 - 15 fps

Garry mod 30 - 40 fps

And l tried to delete some apps and files l don't really use and is it still lagging and also windows is updated and my gpu is dated to the latest firmware

So l need some help


GPU: GTX 970
CPU: Amd Ryzen 5 2600x
Ram: 16 ram

How did you clean it ? Did you take it out or apart ? How are temperatures ?

I clean the fans with one wipe not a lot of wipes and no l didn't take it apart
and the temperature are fine normal it's always 40 - 50 with no problems just a problem with games

Maybe driver problem, did you clean up and reinstall drivers ?

Did you run any graphic benchmark to compare results.

Yes it was running to 30 - 40 fps sadly ot might be a gpu
