Hi, I have had a Nvidia GT 520 for over a year now and I've come to upgrading, I bought a Nvidia GeForce 720Ti, when it came to booting my 750Ti, I encountered an error. When I switched on my PC, the brand name of my computer 'ZooStorm' stayed on my screen for 2 minutes, then changed onto a black screen where in the top left there was a white flickering line. The screen did not change from here until I turned off my PC, which turned off instantly when I pressed the power button.
After doing some research I came to the conclusion my power supply was not sufficient. I bought a 550W PSU to run my 750, all cables are in correctly, however the same incident occurs. (The screen with the White flickering line in the top left.) On boot up I'm using a HDMI cable which is plugged into my graphics card. I do not posses a VGA cable. Also I thought I might add, I've tried booting up on the PCI-E option...
PLEASE HELP, if a solution is not found I've lost £170, please help.
