Graphics card not used over intel graphic.

Nvidia 970 recognised by Hwmonitor, Device Manager but not by Nvidia Control Pannel or Games. I've tried system restore and reinstalling drivers but I'm not sure what else to do.
Both the Graphics card and the intel graphics appear in device manager so should I disable that, or are there other options?

Thanks for responding but I cannot check. Whenever I boot my PC it goes straight to windows.

Try spamming delete while it's booting to try and enter the bios. I bet that's the issue because usually the bios are set to use the integrated graphics by default. Do you have an ssd? It should say what button you need to press to enter the bios (or setup) while it's booting. Common buttons are delete, escape, f8, f12. You can search for your specific motherboard to see what you need to press to open it.

It's an Asus motherboard, but no I have a HDD.
Hopefully that will fix it. It just seems weird as this didn't used to be a problem and only began yesterday.
