My graphics card (Gigabyte R9 270x) is not functioning properly. When I turn my pc on, the fans do not spin and my monitor says no signal. When I first built this pc (3 days ago) it was working fine until I updated Windows 7 with Windows Update. If I switch to the integrated gpu, it doesnt show my R9 in device manager. I also updated all the drivers for it and it didn't work. I have a Thermaltake 550w psu, so I do not think it is the psu's fault. I also noticed that the fans stutter only when I shut down the pc. Any way to fix this?

Well if you wanted, you could just restore to an earlier time before the Windows update. That's very weird though an update cause your video card to stop functioning. If you want to restore, switch to the integrated, boot into windows 7, start > search > restore.

Make sure you have it in PCIE slot correctly. Did you hear it click into place?
