graphics card overheating upto 90 C

my graphics card is heating upto 90C under load however its temperature is 36-40 C while idle how can i solve it?

What GPU do you have? Try to keep your cables tucked out of the way (bad cable management really impedes airflow), the intake.exhaust fans clean, and check to see if the GPU fans are running at full speed when it hits 90C. Also, is it hitting 90C at stock speeds or do you have it overclocked?
