Hiya All, looking for some advice, I had a Radeon 9500Pro on my Asus A7V333 motherboard & it went faulty...So I purchased a Radeon 9600se.....I feel this card is a very poor performer....I am looking for some guidance on a card to get that will work perfectly with my Asus A7V333 motherboard...But I only want to spend a ax of £100 UK....can anyone offer any advice please

9600SE IS a poor performer. Anything with SE behind the name is a definate no-no.

Not sure what 100 pounds equals in canadian dollars, likely in the neighbourhood of 220 or so.

If I were you, I'd look for a 9600XT, maybe a 9800, or 9800 PRO, depending on what they are asking for them

XP2800+, Abit NF7, 1GB Dual-Channel DDR333, ATI R9800PRO 128MB, TT PurePower 420W, LG DVD+-R/RW

Radeon 9600SE is a terrible card. Get at least Radeon 9600 Pro/XT

9600XT for 90 quid off komplett.co.uk
go for the 9700pro if you can still get one... its only a wee bit slower than the 9800pro

Trust me I know what I'm doing... ooops, grab the cat...
