My config is:
Amd athlon 64 x2 4600+ Mobo,
Asus M2n Mx se plus Board
1gb ram...
500W power supply.. is there any other things to check before i install this graphics card?
you should be fine as long as you can fit it in your case. there are wide body cards to fit in common larger tower cases. then there are low profile half height versions that should fit in even the smallest computer case. what case do you have? is this a prebuilt store bought branded computer? what model is it?
well if you have a standard size case and not one of the slim style cases you will be fine.
what games are you trying to play? please dont say battlefield 4 or crysis 3 as your cpu and the r7-240 will not like demanding games. if your trying to play dota2 or LoL or counter strike you should be fine.
bad news guys... i bought Sapphire r7 240 1GB ddr5 and fixed it in the Motherboard. Before that i uninstalled the onboard graphics drivers. Then i connected my display adapter to VGA slot and i restarted the computer.. unfortunately no display showing in monitor... light syats orange...
The fan of the graphics card is spinning.. What will be the problem friends? plz help me...
why did you uninstall the onboard graphics? you dont need to do that. reinstall them. windows update should do it. if this is a store bought computer it might be safer to install the graphics drivers straight from the brands website and sometimes they are modified drivers.
otherwise make sure you actually plugged the monitor into the graphics card and not the motherboard.
OK i will check that and tell you... and one more thing i have only connected 24 pin cord to the motherboard... is there any other cord to connect into the motherboard? any 4pin or 8pin connectors?
