Graphics card stopped working while plugged in PSU

Hi,

My pc shutdown suddenly and stopped working, found after doing some troubleshooting that when i got GPU connected to PSU the PC does not do anything, not even fans spin for few seconds.

But when i take GPU off from PSU pc works fine.(without gpu)

Would this be just a broken GPU or could the PSU broken the card somehow?

It should be, I have been running this setup for 3 years.

I got
Gigabyte AMD Radeon 7950
Chieftec aps-650c

given their reputation, its possible the chieftec is on the way out

test with another power supply

I managed to test my GPU on another system, it had the same problem. :/
It did had 550W power supply tho, but i should have been enough tho.

It was XFX PSU if i remember correctly

But still, get a better psu if you can.
