My screens will flicker and then freeze and then the whole computer basically comes to a hault stuck on this strippy screen. Normally this only happens when I am playing games. (I have 2 screens)

Mine will freeze on that flickering screen and nothing will respond. The problem has now gotten worse and the graphics card will straight up crash and then recover even if I am not playing a game. How do I fix this?? Thank you for any help you can give!
