what low profile single slot card would be recommended to replace my onboard graphics supplied by my Intel Core i5 4570 @ 3.20GHz Haswell 22nm cpu running a hdmi connected 24 inch smart t.v. and a 19 inch lcd monitor with a vga connection

What are you planning to do with the new Graphic Card? Most Gaming GPU will require two slots due to the cooler. And if you plan to just use it for office work, the on board graphics should be more than enough.

I am going to college come september and will be doing 3d musical instrument design on the computer which I don't know too much about at the moment but want to know that my computer will be up to the task
