Graphics card vs monitor

You would be better off with a new graphics card. The monitor you have is great for games now it runs at a native 1080p resolution which is just fine and dandy and your graphics card would be a more seen upgrade over something like getting a higher resolution display which would cost more then a graphics card ex., a 1440p or 1600p display. So.... that being said you bought a new pc was it prebuilt or was it something you build sorry was it a Store bought hp, dell, gateway, or more of a custom computer build if you follow. Without knowing the other components its hard to look at and give an opinion on graphics.
