Question Graphics card won’t output a display on my system

Hey guys so I just bought a barely used GTX 1060 for a system I’m going to sell, but when I put it in the system there seem to be problems suddenly. The CPU cooler RGB LEDs occasionally won’t light up, and the GPU fans stop spinning after a minute and don’t display an output. I’ve put it in another system and it worked, but I also have used a 1050 in the system I’m going to sell and it has worked fine. Any ideas?

CPU: fx-8120 w/ wraith prism cooler

Mobo: Crosshair Formula Z

RAM: 8GB ddr3

Storage: 128Gb SSD

I'm not a genius but I would say your power supply is failing to output enough voltage for the GPU
