my graphics card isnt fiting but the website says its compatible did i mess up?

There's a plastic cover on your gpu connector.

Take that off first.

yeah. as max said, there's a protective sleeve on the PCIe connector. You gotta remove that

oh.... perhaps your graphics card is the thickness of two slots, but you only have the one slot removed from the back where the ports come out of the PC?
You probably need to remove a second bracket slot for the rear, otherwise it's getting in the way of the GPU fully pushing up against the back of the case.

Is the metal bracket circled below hitting the motherboard? A couple people I know didn't realize that metal bracket slips between the motherboard and the case. I circled the little "port" it goes between in the second image

As per qwerky's instructions, the second pci slot cover needs to be removed. It's the grated metal rectangle below the open hole you're trying to put the gpu in. Just push it in, it'll snap off.
