Hi

I have ran out of ideas or what component is causing the issue. I have an RTX 3080 to a Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo. If i set the graphics card to 120hz i get lots of screen blackouts for a second then back again for a few mins.

At the desktop I get odd graphic glitches and flickers.
If I set the gpu to either 60 hz or 240hz, the issue goes away completely.
i have swapped cables. latest drivers. No logs reported in event viewer.

Did you do anything beyond these? What port are you working with on the GPU/monitor?

I have a rtx 3080
Which RTX3080 do you have? As for your GPU, maybe try and use DDU to remove your GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then manually reinstall the latest GPU driver in an elevated command, assuming you're on Windows OS.

Isn't your monitor a 144Hz monitor? On second thoughts, can you pass on the SKU to your monitor, just so we're sure?

+ Have a read through this.
