They should overclock about equally well on average, keeping the 7790 a little bit ahead. But overclocking is luck of the draw, you never know if you're going to get a GPU that overclocks well or not so well.

Cool, thanks. The Hd7790 is 10% Cheaper as well over here.
When overclocking kicks in, the 650ti is better, since all HD7790 are voltage-locked, meaning that you have a very limited heatroom for overclocking.
Both HardOCP and Guru3D still got a 20% core overclock out of it, which is similar to what you can expect to get with a voltage bump on the GTX 650 Ti.

hd 7790 is about 4% better but they trade blows depending on the game
but i will go with hd 7790 as u can crossfire later
Yes reason I want Radeon is because of the "Possible" advantage with next gen consoles also using similar hardware and well it is faster than the Gtx650Ti and cheaper. So what's not to like?
Just to give you an idea, here in SA everything is overpriced. Msi is basically the Cheapest Manufacturer available. The Msi Hd7790 oc I will be paying $170 and the Gtx 650Ti is $180. It's Crazy.

It was just an example to show that they cost about the same in the US (so they should cost about the same in other countries too).
The higher prices you see are probably partially caused by VAT. Here in Denmark for example, the cheapest GTX 650 Ti is $157 and the cheapest 7790 is $165. That's approximately the US pricing plus our VAT rate (25%).

Wow things seem pricey there. Better get the 7790 instead unless you want to do some mid range OC.

Ok so now I came across another card at the same price. A Powercolor 2gb hd6950 stock. How will that be? In crysis3 I see it just above a Gtx650Ti or has performance increased with driver updates? Does this Card support DX11.1?
It's almost as good as a HD7850, but you'll need a high-end PSU to power that card. Therefor, unless you already got a quality PSU with wattage over 550, lets just stay away from the old-tech 6950.

I have a Corsair Cx 500w v2 80+ Bronze. So which one would be better?? Or which one would you pick in this situation? I know powercolor isn't most reliable?
I think it'll be best if you can spend more for a HD7850 or a gtx650ti boost, even if it can only be the 1gb versions.
They are $100 more expensive here in SA, that's insane and way out of my budget. I'll just stick with the Hd7790 then. Unless you know of a trusted US based online shop that ships to SA??
