Hello, I have an XPS 8300 and i was wondering if i could upgrade my current graphics card to a GTX 950. Im pretty sure i need to change my PSU if so could you reccommend me one?

Solution
budget? yes you need a PSU upgrade the ones dell include are horrible in terms of reliability they usually have some generic brand like liteon. A GTX950 requires a minimum of 350W i would go 550W if you have a tight budget and a 650W if you can spare the money. The brands you'll want are antec, seasonic, corsair or XFX. Assuming you reside in the US here's an XFX power supply with a 20$ mail in rebate running this week: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=59615&vpn=P1550SXXB9&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1428&promoid=1428

I like those people who support power supply manufacturers - ugh.

Your Power supply supports easy any EVGA, MSI and ASUS GTX 960 with 6 pin power supply connector.

It will run GTX 970, but that one will require PSU upgrade in the future, however it will work as of now.

XPS PSU is very underrated. According to official Dell it can support up to 225 watt GPU!
