I'm looking for a new graphics card for my PC and if necessary I will upgrade the power supply. I have this:

Name: Inspiron 660

Processor: Intel i5-3340 CPU 3.10GHz

RAM: 8 (7.87 usable)

System Type: 64 bit

Graphic: Intel HD Graphics ( Now do you see why I need a new graphics card)

Power supply: I'm not sure and I can't really open it up, but I did some reading and it might be a 220 or it could be a 300 I have no clue. If i need to open it up (if there is no other way) i might be able to (with some help/ instructions on how to find what i need)

I want to play games like Skyrim, Rust, Civ V, Chivalry, ect.

I don't have a budget yet but I would like links to products and insight from people who know what there talking about.

Thanks in advance. :)

First question is about your form factor, look at the picture below and identify the closest form factor to your 660:

Larger one (MT) is much easier to upgrade.

YOur CPU is very close to the top already, 8 GB of RAM is enough even for BF4, so you fine here.

Video Card (GPU) and power supply, if necessary, would be your major spending points.

I see that you said that you don't have budget yet, and I can say that depending on your form factor, you might have not so many options or huge amount of them.

So, give me approximate top limit for your spending.

Anything else I can help you with?

I have the Mini Tower and my max budget is somewhere around $250
I looked around last night and would these upgrades do?

Why BestBuy? Are you planning to purchase in actual store? If yes, do you have Microcenter or Frys in your range?

With modest power supply upgrade you can get stronger card, 7770 is weak for your processor, we need to look into 7850/GTX660 category plus PSU. I think it can be fit into $250, maybe a bit more considering taxes.

We have to take into consideration actual length of the card, which not suppose to be longer than 9.5"-10"

Anything else I can help you with?

Excellent choice for everything, especially power supply.

This is where I got video card measurements from
