I recently bought the Gigabyte GS27QC, which is, as they call, a super speed VA. And it's not only a marketing term. I tested the CQ27G2 from AOC before and the Gigabyte model has a lot less smearing and the overall response times are also way better. Making the image not feel dirty or dizzy when in high refresh territory.
The problem is that in uniform scenes, like Google home page on dark mode, there's big difference in uniformity when changing refresh rates. There's weird erratic pattern when going above 60hz. I wanted to know if it's a common thing or if it's a VA thing, that's why I mentioned first. Maybe it's exactly because it is a SS VA, since they mention a ''thinner liquid crystal layer and higher driving voltage''.
Uniformity: View: https://imgur.com/KP0TrEv
Seperate Deffect, it appears that some boxes in screen wil thick borders will make blue lines across the screen: View: https://imgur.com/a/mKKy6UF
Does anyone with Gigabyte monitors has had that happen to you?
Thank you for any answer you may have.
